Sr. Valve Design Engineer

We as Maverick Valves are searching for a senior valve engineer to join our team.
Our headquarters is based and located in Tilburg the Netherlands and is a fast-track and special Valve Manufacturer specializing in quick delivery time and tough specifications. For our team both in the Netherlands and Italy, we are looking for a senior valve design engineer to support and become our colleague.

The job
Design valves according to international standards and customer requirements. These valves can be standard or special valves. You will be located in The Netherlands or Italy and in close contact with our colleagues from both Italy and other locations.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a person with an interest in developing her or his engineering activities. Preferably a person with in addition the following qualities:

• At least 5 years of experience with designing for valves according to API6D, API 6A, API 6DSS, API 17D, API 600, and API 609. Valve types: Ball, gate, globe, check, plug, butterfly and choke
• Knowledge of material used in oil and gas application
• Knowledge of material used in petrol chemical application
• Deep knowledge of the Solidworks package
• Working in a team is not a problem
• Accurate and communicative
• A master’s degree is a plus
• Welding knowledge is a plus
• English level OK
